The National Review ran a magazine cover in which they Photoshopped signs at an Obama rally to read “ABORTION” instead of “FORWARD” as they originally did.

The DA has apparently been losing experienced prosecutors to counties with higher budgets, and the sheriff has said he needs an additional seven deputies. Good so far. So how did the discussion turn to civil war? Well, after the events described above take place, Head and the sheriff’s department will be ready to stop the UN and “stand in front of their armored personnel [carriers].” When that showdown occurs, Head wants to be certain he has enough deputies to repel UN forces without relying on civilian fighters. - Social chat/advertising company Meebo • Announcing that Google’s acquired them for a rumored sum of $100 million. But that’s only part of the story — the company’s reportedly laid off many staffers in the wake of the acquisition. Meebo’s model has evolved significantly over the years, most recently as a toolbar that many major sites, including Mashable and Slate, have used. I know that both Google and now Microsoft claimed that Siri is just the same as their voice offering. I haven’t come across head-to-head demo’s between Siri and Android’s voice controls, but this demo of Siri vs. Tell Me from Microsoft is pretty telling of where the two technologies stand against each other.
