Efil
Life spelled backwards is Efil. This is the same name of Efil Craw, a 93 year old French ex-patriot that lives in Avenel, NJ. Her last days on earth are spent with 2 tabbies named Minstrel and Jacob. She can be seen every morning collecting her daily Star-Ledger newspaper, to which she has been subscribing to for 35 years. “I buy this tabloid to keep up with lottery results. The rest becomes toliet paper for Jacob and Minnie.”
Despite crippling arthritis in her left hand, she tends her humble garden along the side of her one-story cape. She’ll use newspapers from years past as a mulch. “Fertilizers be damned. These stories have enough crap in them to clog ten toliets.”
